Overview of Tabular Reports

Axonator’s tabular reports builder allows you to instantly create high quality, simple to understand data tables.

To create a tabular report

  • Navigate to the analytical reports builder.
  • Create or open an existing graphical report.
  • For every form field that you drag and drop onto the canvas, a column is created in the table and the data that is submitted / is going to be submitted will be visible in every row under it.
  • You can set the properties and layout for each column separately by just clicking on the column heading.
  • Once you have dragged and dropped all the columns you want in your table, you can rearrange them, set the number of entries you wish to see in every table per page and also apply filters to get a precise view of the data.

 

Property customizations include

  • Creating row and column groups –
    • Grouping the data present can help you create a concise, more systematic view of the data present in the table. 
    • You can create the groups only for the columns that are present in the table. 
  • Adding and modifying columns – 
    • You can add more columns to your table by selecting the options from the dropdown. 
    • You can set the column visibility as well as the text alignment in this section. 

Layout customizations include

  • Setting the colors –
    • You can set the background color for each table individually. 
    • You can set the font color for the data as well as the table title. 
    • You can set the color for each alternate row separately as well. 
  • Customizing the font properties –
    • All font standard properties such as size, underline, italics, font style, weight, etc. can be set as per your preference. 

If you have already submitted data prior to the creation of a tabular report, the table will get populated instantly.
