How to setup Copy Fields Property?

  1. Identify Source and Target Fields

    • Determine which fields in the source form contain the data you want to copy
    • Identify the corresponding fields in the target form where the data should be replicated

  2. Access Form Builder for Source Form

    • Navigate to the form builder for your source form
    • Locate the specific fields you want to copy data from

  3. Set Identifiers for Source Fields

    • Obtain unique identifiers for each source field
    • These identifiers are crucial for linking fields between forms

  4. Access Form Builder for Target Form

    • Open the form builder for your target form
    • Navigate to the fields where you want the data to be copied

  5. Configure Copy Fields

    • Find the ‘Copy Fields’ or similar feature in the target form builder
    • Specify that these fields should receive data from the corresponding source form identifiers

  6. Map Fields by Identifier

    • In the target form, enter the source form field identifiers into the appropriate field settings
    • This mapping tells Axonator which data to copy from the source to the target

  7. Save and Test

    • Save all changes in the form builder
    • Create a test entry in the source form
    • Verify that the data is correctly copied to the target form
