How to pin charts to a Dashboard?

Pinning charts to a dashboard allows you to create a centralized view of your most important data visualizations. This guide will walk you through the process of pinning charts to a dashboard in Axonator.

1. Access Your Graphical Report

   • Navigate to the section where you have created your graphs and charts
   • This is in the ‘Analytical Reports’ Axonator web
     

2. Locate the Chart to Pin

   • Find the specific graph or chart you want to add to your dashboard

3. Open the Pinning Menu

   • Right-click on the graph or chart you want to pin

4. Choose Pinning Option

   • • “Pin to existing dashboard”
     • “Create new dashboard”
       

5. Pin to Existing Dashboard

   • If you already have a dashboard and want to add this chart to it:
     • Select “Pin to existing dashboard”
     • Choose the desired dashboard from the list provided
       

6. Create New Dashboard

   • If you don’t have a dashboard yet or want to start a new one:
     • Select “Create new dashboard”
     • You’ll be prompted to name your new dashboard
     • Enter a name and Pin to create the dashboard
       

7. Confirm Pinning

   • After selecting your dashboard option, confirm the action
   • The chart should now be pinned to your chosen or newly created dashboard

Important Notes

• You can pin multiple charts to the same dashboard for a comprehensive view
• Pinned charts will update automatically when the underlying data changes
• Remember to choose the most relevant charts that provide key insights for your dashboard
