How to reassign task to other user on Web?

  1. Log In
  2. Navigate to Tasks Section
    • On your dashboard, click on the ‘Tasks’ section in the main menu
    • This will display the list of tasks
  3. Select Task to Reassign
    • Identify the task you want to reassign
    • Use the ‘Search’ function if needed to find a specific task
  4. Open Task Details
    • Click on the chosen task to view its details
  5. Reassign the Task
    • Look for the ‘Assigned To’ field
    • This may be a dropdown menu or an editable field
    • Change the assignment by selecting a new person or entering their details
  6. Save Changes
    • Confirm the new assignment
    • Save your changes to update the task details
  7. Verify Reassignment
    • Check that the task now shows the new assignee in the ‘Assigned To’ column on the task list

Important Notes

  • Ensure you have the necessary permissions to reassign tasks
  • The new assignee will receive a notification about the task reassignment
