How to setup and event/ setup recurring tasks and reminders?

  1. Open the Event Form
  2. Fill in Event Details
    • Enter event name in ‘Event Name’ textbox
    • Choose event type from ‘Event Type’ dropdown
    • Set start date and time using ‘Event Start’ Date Time picker
    • For recurring events, set ‘Event End’ date/time and specify recurrence pattern
  3. Set Reminders and Participants
    • Enter reminder time in ‘Reminder’ field if available
    • Add participants using ‘Event Participants’ field
    • Provide event location in ‘Location’ field
  4. Map Fields for Event Properties
    • Use Event Mapper setting to map form fields to correct event attributes

  5. Configure Event Handlers
    • Select ‘schedule_handler’ from handler options

  6. Workflow Integration
    • If needed, select ‘trigger_workflow’ handler
    • Define which workflow should activate upon event occurrence
  7. Save the Event
    • After entering all details, save the event
  8. Verify Event Scheduling
    • Check calendar view or appropriate section to ensure event appears correctly
