How to generate QR code?

This guide outlines the process of creating a QR code to automatically fill specific fields in your forms, enhancing data entry efficiency.

Prerequisites:

1. An Axonator account with access to web.axonator.com
2. At least one app created with an object form and an action form
3. At least one object record submitted in the object form

1. Login to web.axonator.com

2. Select the app and form

   • Choose the app and form for which you want to create the QR code

3. Navigate to the desired data

   On the left panel, find the list of your forms
   Open any Object form (e.g., Location form, which is an object)
   At least one object record submitted in the object form
   

4. Select specific data

   • Choose the particular record you want to use for the QR code

5. Initiate QR code generation

   • Click on “Generate QR Code”

6. Set up QR code parameters

   • Choose the level: Select either “Form” or “App” level
   • Select the fields you want to auto-populate when the QR code is scanned

7. Provide an email address

   • Enter the email where you want to receive the QR code

8. Finalize:

   • Click on “Generate” to create your QR code

After completing these steps, you’ll receive a QR code via email. When scanned, this QR code will automatically populate the selected fields in your form or app.
