How to create PDF reports?

PDF reports are an excellent way to present and distribute data collected through your Axonator apps. This guide will walk you through the process of setting up a PDF report in Axonator.

1. Access Your Axonator Account

   • Open your web browser and navigate to app.axonator.com
   • Log in using your user ID and password

2. Select the Relevant App

   • Once logged in, choose the specific app for which you want to create a PDF report

3. Navigate to the Report Section

   • Look for the left panel on your screen
   • Find and click on the “Report” section
     

4. Create a New Report Template

   • In the Report  builder, look for an option to create a new report
   • Click on this option to start creating your PDF report
     

5. Choose Document Report Type

   • When prompted to select a report type, choose “Document Report” for PDF reports
     

6. Design Your Report Template

   • You’ll see a template designer interface
   • On the left side, you’ll find various elements you can add to your report
   • Drag and drop these elements onto your template as per your requirements
   • Elements might include text boxes, images, tables, charts, etc.
     

7. Configure Report Elements

   • For each element you add, configure it according to your needs
   • This may involve linking to data fields, formatting text, sizing images, etc.

8. Arrange and Format Your Report

   • Organize the elements on your template to create a clear and professional layout
   • Use formatting options to style your report according to your branding or preferences

9. Preview Your Report

   • Use any preview function available to see how your report will look with actual data
     

10. Save Your Report

    • Once you’re satisfied with your report design, look for a save option
    • Click on it to save your new PDF report template
      

Important Notes

• Ensure all necessary data fields are included in your report
• Remember that you can always come back and edit your report template if needed
• PDF reports can be set to generate automatically upon form submission
