How to Create a Simple App on Axonator

Axonator makes it easy to create mobile apps without any coding knowledge. Follow this guide to create your first app, from sign-up to data submission and viewing.

1. Sign Up / Login

• Visit builder.axonator.com  and click on the “Sign Up” button.
• Fill in your details. 
• If you already have an account, simply click “Login” and enter your credentials.

2. Create App

• Once logged in, you’ll see your homepage.
• Click on the “Create New App” button.
• Give your app a name.
• Click “Create” to generate your new app.

3. Add Form (Using Commando AI)

• In your new app, Navigate to Form Builder and  click on “Create Form”.
• Once the Form Builder is open, you will see an option to use AI Commando. Click on it.
• Type a prompt describing your form, e.g., “Create a customer feedback form with name, email, product purchased, satisfaction rating, and comments.” 
• You can also upload am existing checklist file (e.g. Excel Sheet, PDF, txt file)
• AI Commando will generate form fields based on your prompt or the analysis of the file’s contents that you have uploaded.
• Review the generated form fields and add them to your form.
  
• Make the necessary changes to the widget properties to ensure the data being submitted is in the correct format.

4. Add Widgets / Set Properties

• To add more fields, drag and drop widgets from the left sidebar into your form.
• Click on any field to adjust its properties in the right sidebar.
• You can change field types, add validation rules, make fields required, and more.
  

5. Save Form and Publish App

• Once you’re satisfied with your form, click “Save” at the top of the page.
• To make your app live and ready for use, click on “Publish” in the top right corner.
• Review the publish settings and click “Publish” again to confirm.

6. Open Published App via Web / Mobile App

• After publishing, you can submit the data through the form you have created either on the Web Platform (web.axonator.com) or the Mobile App.
• To access via mobile, download the Axonator mobile app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
• Log in to the mobile app using your Axonator credentials.
• Your published app will appear in the list of available apps.

7. Fill Form

• Open your app on the web or mobile.
• You’ll see the form you created.
• Fill in the fields with sample data to test your app.
• Click “Submit” when you’re done.

8. View Data on Web App

• Open Axonator’s Web Platform (web.axonator.com).
• Click on your app, then navigate to the “Data” section.
• Here, you’ll see all the form submissions, including the one you just made.
• You can view, export, or analyze this data directly in Axonator.
