How to add Signature and Timestamp feature?

This guide explains the simple process of incorporating signature and timestamp fields into your digital forms, enhancing their functionality and record-keeping capabilities.

Open the form you want to configure.

• Add signature field:

  • Locate the Signature field in the left panel
  • Drag and drop it onto the desired location on the canvas

• Add timestamp field:

• • Find the Time field in the left panel
  • Drag and drop it onto the canvas where needed

Mode

1. On Open: The timestamp value gets automatically set when a new form is opened to be filled. The timestamp field is invisible in the app when it is set to take the value on open.
2. On Tap: The timestamp value gets set when user taps on the timestamp field in app, while filling the form.
3. On Submit: the widget is not visible to the app user when set to On Submit, and it takes the exact timestamp when the form is submitted in the app. Even if the device is offline and the record does not get synced with the server immediately, the timestamp is recorded when the user submits the form and not when the data is synced.

Adjust the positioning of both fields as necessary.
