Generate Object and Update Object Step

Description for Generate Object –

The “Generate Object” step is used to copy the fields from one form into another form. You need to drop this step after the step from which you need to copy the fields and before the step into which you need to copy the fields. You can copy multiple fields into multiple forms.

Properties –

• Step Id
  You need to set the step ids into which you want to copy the fields from the form(i.e. the next step in the workflow after the “Generate Document” step. You can set single or multiple step ids to this property. Multiple-step ids should be comma-separated.

Description for Update Object –

The “Update Object” step is used to update the asset record with the action form records. Update object will update only those fields which are copied using the copy field property.

Properties –

• Step Id
  This property is used to set the Step IDs from which you need to update the asset record. The form from which you need to update the value should be placed before the update object step.
