Form Filling Modes

There are three distinct modes in which a user can fill data in any form, namely –

Wizard mode – 

• This mode takes you through the form displaying only one widget on the screen at a time. 
• Users need to tap on the “next” or “back” button to navigate through the form, and when they have reached the final form field, they can either submit or draft the form. 
• Wizard mode restricts you from moving to the next field if the field you are currently on is marked as required. 
• If at any point while filling out the form the user wishes to view the entire form at a glance, then they can do so by clicking on the back arrow (icon) in the top left corner of their screen. 

Inline mode –

• This mode will let you fill the entire form at a glance, without having to go step by step like in wizard mode. 
• Users can fill data in any order they wish to by simply scrolling through the form and filling out the fields instantly. 
• While most form fields can be populated in inline mode, some of them (eg. date and time) will open up on the screen, restricting the user to scroll through the entire form. Users can simply enter the value for these fields, click on save, and then continue to fill the rest of the form in inline mode. 

Cruise mode –

To speed up the process of filling the same form multiple times, users can activate “cruise mode” to enter data into forms even faster. 

Cruise mode allows you to enter data and submit a form repeatedly, without having to select it manually every time. 

To activate cruise mode –

• Open the Axonator Mobile App.
• Tap on the app in which you wish to make a submission
• Tap on the form you wish to fill.
• At the bottom right corner, you will see the + option to make a submission. Long press on the + icon to enable cruise mode. 
• Cruise mode can be used with wizard and inline mode as well.
