Axonator’s form builder is a powerful and intuitive platform that simplifies the process of creating and Configuring forms. It consists of three main components: Fields, Canvas, and Widget Properties, each playing a crucial role in streamlining the form-building.

Fields

The Fields section serves as a comprehensive library of various input fields and elements that can be seamlessly incorporated into forms. Users can effortlessly drag and drop the required Fields onto the form canvas, enabling them to build forms quickly and efficiently. The available Fields range from basic input fields like text boxes, drop-down menus, checkboxes, and radio buttons, to more advanced options such as date pickers, media capture fields for images, audio, or video, and even specialized widgets like barcode scanners or signature capture.

Canvas

The Canvas is the central area where users construct and visualize their forms. It offers a dynamic and responsive layout, providing different views for phone, tablet, and web platforms. This multi-view functionality ensures that users can preview and fine-tune their forms to ensure optimal usability and appearance across various devices and screen sizes.

Within the Canvas, users can position and arrange the Fields they have dragged from the Fields section, creating a visually appealing and intuitive form layout. The Canvas provides a real-time preview of the form, enabling users to make informed decisions and ensure a seamless user experience across different platforms.

Fields Properties

The Fields Properties section is where users can delve into the granular details of each individual Fields added to the form. This section offers a wide range of configuration options, allowing users to tailor the behavior and appearance of each field to meet their specific requirements.

Depending on the type of Fields, users can configure various properties such as labels, validation rules, default values, visibility conditions, formatting options and many more. For instance, a text box Fields may offer properties to set character limits, input masks and many more.
