Dashboard Builder

Axonator’s Dashboard Builder is a robust and intuitive platform that empowers users to configure visually captivating dashboards within their applications. By leveraging various tabular and graphical chart elements from aggregate reports, this powerful tool enables users to create dynamic and informative dashboards tailored to their specific needs.

The Dashboard Builder’s user-friendly interface allows users to effortlessly configure and manage their dashboards, ensuring that critical information is presented in a clear and organized manner. Follow these steps to access the Dashboard Builder:

1. Go to https://app.axonator.com/ and log in to your Axonator account.
2. Open the desired application.
3. From the App Builder menu, click on “Enlighten” to access the Reports list.
4. In the left menu panel, select the “Dashboards” tab.

If dashboards haven’t been created yet, you’ll be prompted to create one from a report within your application. However, if dashboards already exist, you’ll see a list of available dashboards.

Configuring and Managing Dashboards

Once you’ve selected a dashboard from the list, you’ll be presented with a canvas showcasing the charts and reports pinned to that dashboard. The Dashboard Builder offers a range of powerful features to configure and manage your dashboards:

Remove a Report/Chart:

1. Right-click on the chart or report you wish to remove.
2. Select “Remove from dashboard.”
3. Save the dashboard to apply the changes.

Resize a Chart/Report: Adjust the size of charts or reports by dragging their edges. Once you’ve achieved the desired size, save the dashboard to apply the changes.

Reorder Charts/Reports: Reconfigure the layout of your dashboard by holding and dragging charts or reports to new positions. When you see the “+” cursor, drop the element at the desired location and save the dashboard.

View Dashboard: Click on the “Eye” icon to preview your configured dashboard on the Admin Portal of your application.

Delete a Global Filter:

1. Right-click on the global filter you wish to remove.
2. Click on the “Delete” option.
3. Save the dashboard to apply the changes.

Rename Dashboard: Click on the existing dashboard name, enter the new desired name, and save the dashboard to apply the change.
