Board View

The Board View for a form is generated based on two factors –

• The option selected for the choice list field in the form.
• The user who has made the particular submission.

To open the board view – 

• Go to web.axonator.com
• Click on the app for which you want to view form submissions.
• In the left sidebar, click on the form name to view data submissions.
• The screen in front of you will be displaying the list view for all data submitted. 
• Click on the “Board Pin” icon under the form’s name to open the form’s board view.

In the board view, you can –

• View data entries sorted based on the value of the choice list or “submitted by” form field. 
• Drag the cards across the lanes and instantly update the value of the choice list field. 
• View data associated with that particular entry by clicking on the data cards. 
• Apply one or more filters to the form fields and get a precise selection of data cards based on the same.

The board view allows you to view data segregated based on the value of the choice list field present in the form.
The default view is created for the first choice list widget that is added to the form. 

In case you have more than one choice list widgets in the form, additional board views have to be created and configured for the same.
In case the choice list widget is not present in the form, the board view gets generated based on the “submitted by” system field, which essentially captures and displays the data in a segregated manner based on the user’s email address.
