Action Form

Action Forms in Axonator are powerful tools designed to facilitate task management and workflow processes associated with specific objects or assets. These forms are created to initiate and track actions that need to be taken on particular items, allowing for efficient organization and delegation of tasks.

Action Forms are directly linked to object forms, enabling users to create and assign tasks related to specific assets or entities. For instance, if an object is an Air Conditioner, associated Action Forms might include inspection or maintenance tasks.

The system allows for extensive configuration of Action Forms to suit various business needs. Users can customize form names, specify action verbs to clearly define the task, and provide detailed task descriptions to guide assignees. This flexibility ensures that each Action Form can be tailored to accurately represent the required task.

A key feature of Action Forms is the ability to control ad hoc submissions through the “Allow ad hoc” property. This gives administrators the power to manage when and how users can submit unscheduled actions, providing better control over workflow processes.

Additionally, the “Enable View Object” property allows for fine-tuned access control, determining whether users can view the associated object’s details directly from the Action Form. This feature helps in maintaining data privacy while still providing necessary information for task completion.

By integrating task assignment, workflow management, and configurable properties, Axonator’s Action Forms offer a comprehensive solution for businesses looking to streamline their operational processes and improve task management efficiency.
